I would like to recommend Ghiloni Custom Builders. We built twice with Ghiloni Custom Builders and have had many opportunities to observe the intricacies of their business practices. During both building experiences we had a wish list of pictures pulled from the pages of Old Home Interiors, Renovation Style, or other magazines. We had lived in an old home for many years and had some misgivings about how we were going to get the look we wanted with today's trend toward mass production and stock items. Many people we talked with recommended Ghiloni Custom Builders as the perfect builder to alleviate our fears. We are very fortunate to have followed up on those recommendations. Our experience was wonderful. We could show our pictures to Vince or his crew and they would turn the picture into reality. Frequently, they would make a mock up of the detail to make certain that we were getting exactly what we wanted. We had met with another builder during the bidding process. He indicated that we could get a close approximation of what we wanted, but with Ghiloni Custom Builders we got a custom home exactly as we wanted. I was able to have a kitchen exactly as I wanted, made to measure for my dishes and with exact details I wanted. This held true for all of the other rooms and details. If we asked for antique woods, a unique stone, or custom moldings they were happy to oblige. We were constantly able to adapt as we built if the plans did not match our expectations. We asked for many items that were new to Ghiloni Custom Builders, but that was never a problem. If we requested something out of the ordinary, we were always told, "No problem." That was true; they always found the item or figured out how to make it themselves. From the office staff to the laborers we received excellent effort. If we had not built with Ghiloni Custom Builders our home would look like all the other homes in the area. We have a unique home because we had a builder who used innovative ideas and hand craftsmanship like the builders who built our original home a hundred years ago. All of this holds true with our second home; it was another fabulous experience.
